Welcome to Health by Honey.
My name is Maggie Honey and as a nutritionist and fitness trainer, my aim is to work with you to enable you to achieve your optimum health - to look and feel better than you've ever done before.
Firstly, a little bit about me. I graduated in 1995 and taught in the Birmingham area for several years before giving birth to triplets in 1999. 3 boys!!! I put on 5 stone in weight during my pregnancy and expected to lose it all after the birth. I soon realised that it was going to take a little bit longer than I'd anticipated. However, with the help of a personal trainer, I was on a mission to regain my pre-pregnancy weight. On this journey, I became very interested in fitness and nutrition, and within 6 months was feeling better than I had ever felt, even before my pregnancy. Friends asked for my help and advice, which I really enjoyed giving, so I decided to become a personal trainer, specialising in nutrition and weight management. I qualified in 2006 and moved to the Chipping Norton area. In 2013, I achieved a Diploma in Clinical Nutrition with Distinction, which now enables me to work with people who may have medical conditions, who will benefit from specific nutrition programmes.
I feel extremely privileged to be able to offer my clients nutritional therapy and I'm hoping that this combined with the listening and coaching skills I acquired when teaching, will enable me to communicate effectively to help clients take control of their own health.
My aim is to provide an environment in which clients feel comfortable and relaxed. My fitness studio and consulting room is based at my home in Milcombe, near Banbury and is easily accessible from A361 Banbury to Chipping Norton Road in Oxfordshire. For clients who are unable to travel, I am happy to visit them in their home or arrange a telephone consultation.

If you want to improve your quality of life, or have symptoms that are troubling you, nutrition and fitness advice may provide the key to a greater understanding. For nutrition consultations I usually work with clients individually, but I can arrange to see small groups for tailored fitness and weight-loss programmes.
